Altura is powering the next web3 hit — Infinity Realms

Altura is excited to announce that Infinity Realms, the free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will be powered with Altura.

Infinity Realms will leverage Altura's API to turn in-game assets into Smart NFTs, create lootboxes that distribute player rewards, and build a marketplace for players to buy, sell, and trade in-game items.

This is a major milestone for both Altura and Infinity Realms, as it signifies a major expansion of the game's capabilities and accessibility.

What is Infinity Realms?

Infinity Realms is a free-to-play MMO enhanced with NFT real estate, avatars, mounts, pets, and more. It takes place across a growing multiverse of worlds and features action-packed combat, resource gathering, crafting, player-owned real estate/building, quests, and countless evolving experiences. There's always something new and exciting to discover in Infinity Realms, and with Altura by its side, the possibilities are endless.

One of the key benefits of Infinity Realms adopting the Altura marketplace is that it will now seamlessly integrate the other core features offered by Altura's platform. There are multiple exciting ways Infinity Realms will be utilizing Altura to bolster their player's in-game experience (and beyond).

Infinity Realms is adopting the Altura API to enable in-game NFT drops in a variety of ways. This includes quest rewards, mob drops, and more. This is a thrilling mechanic that will empower players with a new way to play-and-own byrewarding them with NFTs DIRECTLY IN-GAMEwhile they are playing and exploring the ever-expanding content found throughout Infinity Realms.

We are also excited to announce that Infinity Realms will be adopting Altura's Smart NFTs. To start, they will be used for summonable pets that grow stronger through in-game use until they eventually evolve. Once the pet evolves inside of Infinity Realms, the Smart NFT simultaneously evolves and changes its metadata and token art. This adds a unique and interactive element that transcends the game alone, as players will be able to watch their pets grow and evolve both in-game and in their wallet.

Additionally, Infinity Realms will be adopting Altura's Lootbox system. These loot boxes will be filled with a variety of NFTs and can be unlocked by finding NFT keys in a variety of ways - including in-game quests, social media campaigns, events, and more. Unlocking a loot box will be an exciting experience that gives the player a random Infinity Realms NFT from a wide range of rarity and utility.
