How to Connect Metamask to BSC
What Exactly is an NFT in Simple Terms?
Metamask is the most popular web3 wallet. A web3 wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet used to interact with decentralized applications. By default, Metamask does not interact with BSC (Binance Smart Chain); however, in this article, you will learn how to connect to BSC through Metamask to use BSC applications, like the Altura marketplace, and store BEP20 tokens such as ALU.

Step 1: Installing Metamask
If you already have Metamask you can skip this step. Metamask can be installed as a browser extension on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Brave. It is the same process to install across all three browsers and once installed, the steps are the same.
VisitMetamask on the Chrome Web Store, and click add to chrome to install.
Click get started, then import a wallet if you have one, or click create a wallet. Afterward, set up a password, write down your secret backup phrase, and confirm your phrase to complete the install.
Step 2: Connecting to BSC
Now that you have Metamask installed, we can get to connecting it to the Binance Smart Chain!
Click on your profile in the top right corner (colorful circle). Then click on Settings.
Scroll down tonetworks. Click onadd networkand enter the following information into their corresponding fields.
BSC Mainnet
Network Name:BSC
New RPC URL:https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID:56
Currency Symbol:BNB
Block Explorer URL:https://bscscan.com
You have now connected to the Binance Smart Chain! To toggle between networks, you can click on the network at the top of Metamask. This will open up a dropdown will all of your networks.
