Welcome to our weekly product update. This week, we worked on improving our Smart NFTs and API products. These updates are still in development with a planned launch in early February.

Smart NFTs

Smart NFTs unlock a whole new level of creativity that didn't exist just a year ago. With Altura's Smart NFTs, you can can programmatically push updates to in-game items. Meaning you could change the name of an in-game character, upgrade their level, age, skill, or introduce a weapon with magical attributes. You could even have the item degrade with time and usage to balance the gameplay.

Updates we made this week:

• Admins can now update name and description of their smartNFTs

• Added the ability to query NFT owners

• Added the ability to query token balances of wallet addresses

• Added the ability to query chain native balances of an users (edited)

API

Altura's free, robust, and well documented API makes it easy to mint, integrate, update, and transfer in-game NFTs. Our API supports: six chains (Ethereum, Binance, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Arbitrum, and Optimism), three tokens (ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155), and every type of in-game asset.

This week we made improvements to our API to make it easier to interoperate with Unreal Engine 5 after signing several partners building on UE5.
